My biggest mom fail... so far.

I remember this like it was yesterday. My baby girl was six months old and I was carrying her in front of my body, you know the one arm under the butt and the other supporting the back. Well I was walking up the three steps that you had to take to get to my front door of our house and on the first step I tripped and fell forward. It must have been a pretty loud thud because my boyfriend and my mother came running immediately. “WHAT HAPPENED?!” They are both frantically asking and I felt like the worst patent in the world having to say that I tripped and hit my baby’s head. I look at my child and she is going in and out of consciousness, I am thinking that she is dying. Within seconds we jumped into the car to head to the hospital, I’m holding her in the front seat with me while she continues to go in and out of consciousness. I was so scared, I was shaking, I truly thought I was going to be getting horrible news that day but... GOD. He was there for me and my family that day just like he ALWAYS is, and my baby girl was perfectly fine. Thankfully I haven’t made that big of a mistake ever since (knock on wood) but my oldest child is only 3 so I’m pretty sure I will be making plenty more mistakes along the way. Let me know what your biggest parenting fail has been! Come on, we all make mistakes, no judgment here. 😊
